Allexa Orr, also know as Ay Oh, grew up in Courtenay, British Columbia. She went to Vancouver Island University in 2012 and graduated from the hairdressing program in 2013. She moved to Calgary to pursue being a hairstylist. However, Allex wanted to master the barbering side of hairdressing because she found it more intriguing. Instagram was just becoming popular, so she started following different bartenders and hairstylists. Learning how to use a straight razor was Allex's main focus.

Now, Allex is working in Status Barbershop in Victoria, British Columbia. She is loving the change from hairdressing to barbering.
