Born and raised in Carbondale, Illinois, DeAndre Scales has always had a passion for barbering. Since age thirteen DeAndre has been cutting his friends and family's hair.
DeAndre wanted to become a barber because he wanted to make a difference in people's lives. He believes barbering does just that. Not only are you cutting hair but you are developing relationships, art, therapy, and making others feel good about themselves.
DeAndre wants to help others find what they are passionate about and the image that fits them, not what society tells them.
